What is Loomed Wicker?
Loomed wicker, just as the name suggests, is made on a mechanically operated weaving loom. Hemp paper is tightly twisted into a rope-like material and then woven by the machine into a wicker fabric. The loomed wicker material is then coated completely on both sides with a flexible latex paint.
The Hampton Collection by Garden Classics® is produced from loomed wicker. It is an outdoor collection made for limited exposure. It is made to go on a covered lanai (patio) and is perfectly suited for contract use. This collection is constructed of all- aluminum, 360° heli arc welded frame. To ensure durability every inch of the frame is powder coated before the loomed wicker is applied.
For added strength Garden Classics® has added 12 strand stainless steel wire cores to all of the vertical strands of wicker ensuring virtually no wicker breakage. Others use a steel core that can rust through the wicker leaving discoloration and possible stains on the consumer's deck. Nylon glides will not mark flooring surfaces and are on the bottom of each Hampton Collection piece, including the tables.
This collection is finished on all edges, including the underside, with a wicker braid disguising all seams and joints in the construction - adding greatly to the value. Plus the cushioning offered on Hampton is second to none! Additionally, the foam/Dacron button tufted cushions with zippers are reversible and the oversized welting comes standard on all cushions. Contrasting welts and throw pillows are available at no extra charge and there are over 250 fabrics to choose from.
The Hampton Collection...when only the best will do!
